Digital X-Ray

Digital X-ray

Many dental problems hide beneath the surface, developing silently between teeth, within roots, or deep in the bone. Digital X-ray technology gives us the diagnostic precision we need to detect these issues early, when they are easiest and least expensive to remedy.

As part of dental imaging, digital radiography offers significant advantages over traditional film X-rays. Electronic sensors convert X-ray signals into digital images within seconds. During your appointment, we will be able to discuss your findings, answer your questions, and help you decide what course of action to take.

It has excellent image quality. Zoom in for a closer look at tiny fissures, adjust contrast to highlight subtle changes in bone density, and compare current and previous images over time to see how they have changed. Conventional film wouldn't be able to capture this level of detail.

Your Safety Is Our Priority

The radiation exposure from digital X-rays is up to 90% lower than with traditional film X-rays. Dental X-rays have been considered safe for many years, but we have committed to using the latest, low-dose technology to ensure patient safety.

We follow strict safety protocols, taking X-rays only as necessary to diagnose or monitor specific conditions. Radiology is performed with a measured approach that ensures minimal exposure to the patient while providing diagnostic benefits.

What We Can Discover

Digital X-rays help us detect conditions that would otherwise go undetected until they became serious:

Comprehensive Imaging Options

With the use of digital radiography, we can meet any diagnostic need you may have:

Better for You, Better for the Environment

As opposed to traditional film development, digital radiography doesn't use harsh chemicals or produce waste. Digital imaging eliminates the need for chemicals, darkrooms, and film waste, making it eco-friendly. Modern dental diagnostics are dedicated to keeping you healthy and safe.
